FAQs

Shipments are expected to be delayed during the holiday season, and the tracking information available to you and customer service representatives is the same, so we would really appreciate your understanding and patience if your package doesn't arrive as expected.

Will these glasses help me to pass the color blind test?

Based on customer feedback,  we have some observations that may be helpful to guide you on your path.

Taking the colorblind test with our glasses on may not be the most accurate way to determine their effectiveness. Room lights and computer screens can affect the colors on the test, leading to different results. Instead, we recommend going outside and exploring the world to evaluate the glasses. Look at items like the Starbucks logo, American flag, and plants, and correctly naming the colors you see will give you the best indicator that the glasses are performing optimally.

Pilestone glasses are not a cure for color deficiencies. They are designed to assist individuals with the most common forms of colorblindness in seeing colors more accurately. However, it's important to note that different people may have varying experiences when using the same pair of glasses.

Adapting to the new vision provided by Pilestone glasses can be overwhelming some time, and in certain cases, people may even need to learn colors from scratch. Each person's experience with these glasses can vary significantly, and it's essential to be patient and understanding during the adjustment period.

Thank you for considering Pilestone colorblind glasses and we hope they can make a positive difference in your life.

*Please do not wear our glasses to drive until you have fully adapted to the new vision.

How do I know which lens should I try?

We offer free color blind test which will suggest the lens that fits you the best, and have engineered 5 unique lens types for different kinds of colorblindness.

Do you accept insurance as payment for my glasses?

If you're a citizen in the United States and have health insurance that covers vision insurance then you may be able to get the full cost of PILESTONE color blind glasses reimbursed. Details can be found here.

Is the Pilestone lens polarized?

Pilestone lenses are not polarized but outdoor lenses are titanium coated to protect against glare and equipped with full UV protection, meaning your eyes will be safely protected from the harmful rays of the sun while being able to see the world in a whole new light. Colorblind glasses already have tints and Polarization will make the glasses darker and harder to see through.
